Hi! I'm Griffin Kao and I'm a Product Manager at Google. The thing I love to do most is experiment. Whether building a new feature or product, pioneering a new process, finding new ways of relating to the people in my life, or even working on new skills in a sport - I love to put something out into the world and see how it works. Learning by doing is what makes me tick.

Currently, I'm forever changing how people think about ads via My Ad Center — the first ever consumer product built around ads. By giving users control over the content and origin of their ads, we believe we can change how users fundamentally feel about the ads they see.

In addition to my work, I also love writing, designing mechanical assemblies, investing, and playing ultimate frisbee. In fact, two of my proudest achievements and memories are publishing my most recent book, Turning Silicon Into Gold, and becoming a D1 College National Champion!
